About LeanCode

We are looking for ambitious professionals who can join our team in the Junior QA Automation Engineer role. You’ll be responsible for ensuring that our products are of the highest quality. Your job will be a mix of manual and automated testing. If you don’t have experience with writing automated tests yet, don’t worry - we will teach you. But you need to have very basic programming skills and the eagerness to learn quickly.

At LeanCode, we’re also developing our UI testing framework for Flutter. As a team member, you’ll be involved in the process of shaping the new framework, providing constant feedback, and suggesting new features. We spend a lot of time discussing best practices and possible ways to make UI tests more efficient, readable, and maintainable.

LeanCode is a software studio based in Warsaw (Poland) with a strong focus on building great products that matter. We are a team of 60+ skillful professionals. Our clients represent different industries, from banking and insurance through retail and well-being products up to SaaS solutions. This gives our team plenty of room to explore new businesses and master challenging domains. Our mission is to solve real-life problems using cutting-edge technologies.

We work for companies from all over the world (at the moment: Poland, Germany, the UK, France,  the USA, and Australia). We join forces with the clients at the very early stage of the process. Thanks to that, we have a substantial impact on not only the organizational aspects of the project but also on how the developed product actually works and looks. This approach requires close cooperation with the clients, including frequent workshops and daily meetings with them.

There’s a catch in this offer, though… You’ll probably have to learn how to play table soccer if you join us ;)

Our requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience with automated testing;
  • Great analytical skills;
  • Attention to detail;
  • Programming skills;
  • Ability to write concise yet exact descriptions of bugs;
  • Eagerness to learn new things;
  • Good command of English (B2, written and spoken).

Responsibilities:

  • Writing and maintaining automated E2E tests in Flutter and Cypress;
  • Manual testing of mobile and web apps;
  • Providing feedback about our internal UI testing framework;
  • Close collaboration with the client, developers, product owners, and UX designers;
  • Business analysis.

Other important facts on what you can expect:

  • Work at our HQ (Warsaw, Służew metro station) or remotely;
  • Comfortable, spacious office with a large backyard (where we have frequent BBQ parties);
  • Specialty coffee from a local roastery (yes, we are coffee freaks…);
  • Frequent technical talks from various areas of software development (system architecture, soft skills, mobile & frontend trends, UX);
  • We play table tennis and table soccer (quite a lot).

Recruitment process

  1. Apply via the form located below.
  2. Get through the technical review with our QA Team Leader. At this stage, we may require writing some live code.
  3. Join the call with our CTO to discuss the potential cooperation and your future development.
